Jeb Dunnuck 94 Points: “A youthfully ripe magenta color, the 2022 Cattleya Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast has a lovely floral and pure, fruity nose, offering notes of raspberry coulis, fresh violets, and wet stones. and fresh mossy earth. Medium-bodied, it has very fresh focus in this vintage as well as a lovely, silky feel and fantastic balance. It’s going to drink well over the next 8-10 years. This is a step up for me from the Russian River Valley Pinot.”
Bibiana’s Notes: “Truly a product of the rugged Sonoma Coast, this Pinot Noir’s brooding deep ruby profile offers up rich and complex aromas of spiced plum, sweetheart cherries, bright raspberries with fresh notes of sandalwood and hints of dried lavender as it swirls in the glass. Laser-focused at first, the broad, expansive structure soon coats the palate with luscious flavors of brambly dark berries, baking spices, toasted vanilla, and a subtle note of blood orange before finishing with approachable tannins and coastal-driven acidity.
