As the owner of Golden Gate Wine Cellars I have hosted scores of wine lovers from all over the globe. They all want to come to Napa and Sonoma wine country to sample the best wines that the US has to offer. The big problem that they all ask about is “How do we do this? How do we get an appointment at one of those coveted wineries?”

A great lunch at Bench vineyardEveryone wants to meet the winemaker and owner, and see what goes on “back stage” at the winery – that’s where we come in! Most of the venues are not open to the public, but we can unlock the vintner’s treasure box!

We will do everything to customize your trip. From meeting you at your place of lodging and showing you around the valley in person. Every winery is different and unique in its own style.

California Wine Country offers amazing wines, hospitality and of course stunning décor and views! There are many places to stay in and around Napa, or you can try to rent a home for a few days if that is what you prefer. We’d come by your place no matter where you are, or set up a location to meet to start your journey.

Here are a few suggestions to get you started, but please do not hesitate to give us a call for more personalized help or to find out about a guided personal tour.
