It impresses with its incredibly pure and fresh aromatics of ripe blackberries and black cherries that are woven together with pencil shavings, sweet spices, wet gravel, and hints of violets and fresh sage. On the palate, this is full-bodied and structured with beautiful, round, polished tannins that result in a gorgeous, voluptuous mouthfeel. This possesses a wonderful, elegant character as well as outstanding concentration and volume all the way through the seamless finish. This is another simply brilliant wine from Tor that is fantastic today, but will also age gracefully.”

This wine checks all the Cabernet boxes, with plentiful fruit, a touch of forest floor, and a hint of graphite. The fruit is a balance of red, black, and blue, with blackberry, black cherry, blueberry compote, and an iron/sanguine minerality. Baking spices of cinnamon, clove, and nutmeg add an extra dusting of complexity. A great expression of this renowned appellation.”
