Deep garnet-purple colored, it storms out with pronounced notes of baked black plums, tar, and boysenberries, leading to touches of bay leaves, lilacs and forest floor. The full-bodied palate has a solid structure of grainy tannins and refreshing acidity to offset the dense, muscular black fruits, finishing long and earthy.”
