TWI 95 Points: “Grown on the slopes of the Roche de Vergisson, this 2023 Nid Tissé Pouilly Fuissé Chardonnay comes from an organically farmed 40-year-old parcel called “Tremis.” Delicate notes of lemon tart, green apples, and fresh pears slowly emerge from the glass, followed by hints of chalk dust, baking bread, and honeysuckle. The light to medium-bodied palate is pure and lively, with subtle orchard fruit flavors and a silky texture, finishing on a chalky note. This wine is produced in the cellar of Thierry Janots in Meursault using all native yeast, with no filtration. It was aged for 10 months in Burgundian oak barriques, 15% new. 75 cases were made.”
