James Suckling 98 Points: “Perhaps the nerviest, stoniest chardonnay from the rightly famous Hyde Vineyard, this wine is compact, concentrated, and potentially age-worthy. Subtle apple skin, mineral, butterscotch, and Bosc pear flavors combine on an almost steely palate of good acidity and a medium body. It keeps opening up in the glass and revealing more on the palate and lingering finish. Only the second vintage from this new producer. Drinkable now, but best from 2028.
