TWI 96 Points: “The 2022 Nid Tissé Cécile is composed of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc, aged for 19 months in neutral French oak barriques. Deep garnet-purple colored, notes of wild blueberries, juicy plums, and fresh blackberries jump from the glass, followed by nuances of Indian spices, crushed rocks, and licorice. The medium to full-bodied palate is filled with spicy black fruit flavors, supported by soft tannins and a refreshing backbone, finishing long and savory. This wine is made in collaboration with Gael Arpin of Château Franc Maillet in Pomerol. 50 cases were made.”
