The Mending Wall 2022 Red Blend “Mortar & Stone” is a blend of  36% Petite Sirah, 31% Zin., 18% Charbono, and 15% Syrah.

Winemaker Notes: “Paying tribute to one of the last remaining dry-farmed, head-trained vineyards in Napa Valley, the 2022 vintage proved yet again that old vines know best. Impressively heat resistant, their deep roots and 360-degree canopy coverage allowed clusters to remain in impeccable shape leading up to harvest. The result in the glass is a wine loaded with dark fruit complexity, highlighted by lithe floral notes and clean acidity. Black cherry, cocoa, loam, and lilac all compete for attention across the medium-structured palate. This vintage provides a wonderful balance of fruit and earth notes that come together to create a bold flavor profile and an elegant mouthfeel.
