I am very excited about our Melis Family 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon. This youngster shows off a deep dark purple hue, with profound aromas of black currant, chocolate, and a touch of leather jumping out of the glass.                    A very intense wine, offering a deep, rich style that is laced with bold, forward, and bright fruit.  The 2022 Melis Family Cabernet is gorgeous from start to finish, densely concentrated, yet elegant, with well-balanced flavors, integrated acidity, and bold-silky flavors. The wine finishes with gorgeous and fine-grained tannins. The 2022 vintage will benefit from some cellar time, but if you can’t wait to open your first bottle, I suggest decanting it for a good 2 hours.

The 2022 Melis Family Cabernet is a blend of 96% Cab Sauv, 1% PV, 1% Cab Franc, 1% Merlot, and 1% Malbec, all sourced from one of the most sought-after Rutherford Vineyards.
