FMW 95 Points: This 100% Viognier from Herman Story was sourced from the Bien Nacido and Larner vineyards. The 2022 Tomboy shows off a nice gold color, and bright notes of succulent peaches, honeysuckle, a whiff of toasty vanilla, and fresh-cut white flowers. This wine is in the same caliber of the best Condrieus from the Rhone Valley. The wine is lush and full-bodied, well-balanced, and has a bold texture, good freshness, and an amazingly long and stunning finish. This is a MUST for the late Spring and summer season!
RUSSEL FROM (OWNER/WINEMAKER) TASTING NOTES: “The whitewater rafting instructor might not know your name, but you’re about to change all that on this class V rager. She’s helming the front of the raft like an old pro, maneuvering deftly between lemon butter currents and ripping mandarin orange rapids. In and out of daffodil and baking spice eddies. Cartwheeling slate and mineral outcroppings. Gold Rush apple gradients, mango mai tai tail waves, and the sudden electric boldness to give her your number—if only you weren’t underwater. DRINK NOW: Pop & Pour CELLAR: Now through the next 5 years.”
