The Story: Once a year the rarest new Napa Valley wines become available under one roof at “Premiere Napa Valley” a.k.a. PNV.  Wineries throughout the Napa Valley are given one task to participate: create a one-of-a-kind wine for this event to be purchased by one lucky bidder. This event is only open to select members of the wine trade and the successful bidder is the sole owner of this unique wine.

The Wine: The 2017 Coho “Premiere Napa Valley” Auction lot offers up a deep purple color hue.  Bold aromas of black cherries, warm cassis, chocolate, and espresso beans jump out of the glass, with subtle notes of sage and tobacco.  The wine is medium to full in body with a striking elegant palate that offers up a smorgasbord of flavors.  The wine finishes long with silky, velvety tannins.

This wine is a 100% Golden Gate Wine Cellars Exclusive.  Every bottle is numbered and signed by the Coho Winery owner, Gary Lipp.
