Bacigalupi 2019 Zinfandel “Estate” Russian River Valley

The Wine: An inky black colored wine with amazing aromas of black cherry and currant are rounded out with vanilla and pepper notes jumping out of the glass. The palate is loaded with jammy fruity characters and a hint of white pepper and spice, and a high tone structure with good acidity on the finish. This wine should age well and improve over the next 5 years.  Only 200 cases produced

Winemaker Notes: “The Russian River Valley always gives such a unique and lovely essence to our Zinfandel and this vintage is no exception. Notes of pure and bright crushed raspberry, blackberry coulis, vanilla bean, and warm toasted baking spices just overwhelm the aromas. The palate is incredibly juicy, fruity, and bright with notes of raspberry liquor, delicate acidity, and super soft tannins. The wine is tasting great right now and will continue to age well for years to come.”
