Allimant Laugner Cremant Rose d’Alsace

The Allimant Laugner Cremant d’Alsace Rose NV, Alsace France is one of the best Rose sparkling wines I have ever tasted. Clean, crisp, great to drink on its own, or pair with a variety of dishes like shrimp cocktail.  The wine offers gobs of raspberries, strawberries and bing cherry fruit.  Tiny-tiny bubbles and well-balanced acidity run into a silky finish.

Robert Parker: “Based on Pinot Noir the NV Crémant d’Alsace Rosé Brut has a very pale color with just a hint of rosé. Very delicate fruit aroma with hints of red berries and flowers on the very subtle, fresh and elegant nose lead to a full-flavored and quite expressive palate. The wine is quite powerful and fruit intense but in a discreet and elegant way. Firmly structured but provided with fine bubbles and an aromatic aftertaste there is really finesse in this very well-made and distinctive sparkling wine. Still very young though.”
