The Rutherford component brings powerful, dense, rich Rutherford Dust style, while the cooler hillside microsite from the Coombsville nested appellation artfully adds layers of bright, juicy dark fruits. 26 months elevage in 90% new French oak barrels and artful blending yields dense opulent dark fruit, mocha, complex spiced notes and full structure with supple tannins. It will cellar gracefully 20-25 years and may be decanted for earlier gratification.
