Winemaker notes: “This begins four feet from the end of the South slope and continues to slope to the North. It is 100% French clone 115. The close proximity to the South slope does not influence these flavors as clone 115 exhibits the most fruit-driven flavors and appears more “New World” than French.”
FMW 95 Points: “Beautiful color and impressive aromas of sweet cherries, raspberries, and a hint of spice greet you on impact. The wine is full of body and loaded with lush flavors of bing cherries, sweet plums, and a touch of Burgundian earthiness on the palate, which is bold, concentrated, and silky smooth. The wine is nicely balanced and leads into a long finish with silk-grained tannins
