Cobb 2019 Pinot Noir Rice Spivak Sonoma Coast 97+ Points
$99.99
Robert Parker 97+ Points: “The 2019 Pinot Noir Rice Spivak Vineyard was made with about 40% whole clusters and matured for 22 months in 40% new French oak. It has a medium ruby color and pure aromas of cranberries, raspberries and rhubarb—those dark red fruit characteristics of Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir in the 2019 vintage—plus accents of orange peel, Angostura bitters, moss and forest floor. The medium-bodied palate manages a slender frame and very intense flavors, supported by an abundance of silty tannins and juicy acidity driving the very long, very layered finish.”

The palate is fully dry and has lift through its dark fruited profile. The midpalate is flush with roses and ripe red plum, giving way to a well-balanced, tannic structure. Drink 2024-2044.”

$114.99
Jeb Dunnuck 96+ points: “The 2021 Pinot Noir comes entirely from the Pisoni Vineyard in the southern portion of the Santa Lucia Highlands. It was only partially destemmed and was raised in 68% new French oak. It’s a truly gorgeous effort offering serious aromatics of cassis, darker raspberries, spicy oak, graphite, and crushed stone. Incredibly pure, vibrant, and precise aromatically, it hits the palate with full-bodied richness, a stacked mid-palate, lots of building tannins, and a great finish. This concentrated, focused, age-worthy beauty needs at least 2-3 years to integrate its structure and tannins and will evolve brilliantly over the following decade. Bravo!

Limerick Lane 2020 Zinfandel Russian River Valley
$41.99
Mark Aubert’s Tasting Notes: “The alluring 2018 UV-SL is a kaleidoscope of apple oil, lemon confit, crème patissière, and almond croissant lined with a subtle saline note and a touch of talc. With air the tight-knit core grows to reveal seductive flavors of praline, stone fruit preserves, and white flower. Full-bodied and opulent, the compelling UV-SL finishes long and pure. This wine has more to reveal and will age gracefully for 10+ years. The wine is slightly hazy showing our commitment to minimal intervention winemaking.”

Jeb Dunnuck 96 Points: “The 2019 Pinot Noir Sanford & Benedict Vineyard was 80% destemmed, which is a lot of stems by this estate’s standards, and spent 16 months in 40% new barrels. It’s another exotic, complex, incredibly satisfying Pinot Noir in the lineup that offers ripe red and black fruits, black tea, orange blossom, and spice-laced aromas and flavors. I love its texture, and it has terrific mid-palate depth, ripe tannins, and a great, great finish.”
