The Site: Nestled in the foothills of the northern Russian River Valley, these vines are planted on a steep, sun-drenched slope. With thin, rocky soils and a warmer microclimate within this famously cool region, this site produces a wine boasting streaks of minerality in harmony with ample texture and concentration.

Winemaker Notes: “The 2023 “on days and nights” opens with enticing scents of apricot preserves, lemon confit, apple oil, beeswax, and crème anglaise intertwined with hints of cardamom, anise seed, and saline. The entry coats the palate with beguiling flavors of stone fruit oils, lemon tart, and spice layers, delivering a stunning balance between depth and finesse on the long and saturating finish. This sophisticated wine has the vivacity and drive to enhance with cellar aging.”
