Winemaker Notes: “The 2019 Heritage Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is a marvelously complex, beautiful, and complete Cabernet Sauvignon from the amazing Rutherford appellation. Bright and alluring aromatics showcase layers of dark black & red fruits, and cassis, and dust and spice components are known for this terroir. The mid-palate is perfectly balanced with massive amounts of ripe but balanced Cabernet Sauvignon fruit, bittersweet chocolate, and slight herbal notes followed by a full-bodied and buoyant mouthfeel that coats the mouth and penetrates the senses. It possesses an integrated tannin structure that is fine and polished and leads into a detailed and long finish that builds momentum as it coats the palate. This blend from the Heritage Vineyard showcases what our Cabernet Sauvignon is capable of from the McGah estate. Allow 2-3 years for the tannins and fruit to further integrate or enjoy it in its prime 8-12 years, where you will be rewarded with an amazing bevy of complexity.”
