The vibrant bazaar lures you in with scents of bing cherries, sandalwood, black currant preserves and suede. You walk along the wet stone path and find yourself deeper in the swirl of shoppers and vendors. An old woman is selling hibiscus tea and rose water. The next cart swells with juniper berries and fresh cut watermelon. You discreetly swipe a piece and move on through the lively affair.
Jeb Dunnuck 90 Points:”As to the reds, the 2017 Pickpocket offers pretty floral, kirsch and mulled strawberry notes as well as a medium-bodied, spicy, rounded style on the palate. It’s not going to make old bones, but it should drink nicely for 3-5 years. Like all of the Sans Liege Wines, it offers lots of pleasure.”
