Paul Lato 2021 “Suerte” Pinot Noir, Solomon Hills Vineyard, Santa Maria Valley 95 Points
$100.00
Jeb Dunnuck 95 Points: “I always love Lato’s Pinot Noir from this site, and his 2021 Pinot Noir Suerte Solomon Hills Vineyard is no exception. Revealing a ruby hue as well as gorgeous notes of wild strawberries, black tea, toasted spice, and exotic flowers, it hits the palate with medium to full-bodied richness, a round, layered, supple texture, integrated tannins, and outstanding length. Drink this more up-front, fruit-loaded, gorgeous Pinot Noir over the coming 5-7 years.”
Paul Lato 2021 “Done and Done” Chardonnay, Rincon Vineyard, Arroyo Grande Valley 97 Points
$80.00
Jeb Dunnuck 97 Points: “Leading off the Chardonnay, the 2021 Chardonnay Done & Done Rincon Vineyard has gorgeous orchard fruits, pineapple, spicy oak, brioche, and honeyed white flower notes as well as full-bodied richness and depth on the palate. It firms up with time in the glass and shines for its purity, richness, and overall balance, and it’s rare to find this level of richness paired with purity from the Central Coast. It’s an absolutely thrilling Chardonnay to enjoy over the coming 3-5 years.”

Limerick Lane 2020 Zinfandel Russian River Valley
$41.99
Mark Aubert’s Tasting Notes: “The alluring 2018 UV-SL is a kaleidoscope of apple oil, lemon confit, crème patissière, and almond croissant lined with a subtle saline note and a touch of talc. With air the tight-knit core grows to reveal seductive flavors of praline, stone fruit preserves, and white flower. Full-bodied and opulent, the compelling UV-SL finishes long and pure. This wine has more to reveal and will age gracefully for 10+ years. The wine is slightly hazy showing our commitment to minimal intervention winemaking.”

Limerick Lane 2021 Zinfandel Banfield Russian River Valley 97 Points
$69.99 $63.99
Vinous 97 Points: “The 2021 Zinfandel Banfield Vineyard, from a site on Martinelli Road planted in 1880, is packed with varietal character. Muscular tannins wrap around a core of black fruit, licorice, spice, dried herbs and graphite. This virile, imposing Zinfandel packs quite the punch. I would cellar it for at least af ew years. Impressive.”
Paul Lato 2021 “East of Eden” Chardonnay, Pisoni Vineyard, Santa Lucia Highlands-96+ Points
$99.00
Jeb Dunnuck 96+ Points: “From a site in the southern, slightly warmer portion of the Santa Lucia Highlands, the 2021 Chardonnay East of Eden Pisoni Vineyard is one of the tighter, more mineral-drench, backward Chardonnays in the lineup. Crushed citrus, flinty minerality, orange blossom, and spicy wood notes all define the aromatics, and it’s pure and medium to full-bodied, with integrated acidity and a focused, layered style that will benefit from a year or two of bottle age. It will drink beautifully through 2031.”

Pisoni 2021 Estate Chardonnay, Santa Lucia Highlands 96+ Points
$105.00 $94.99
Jeb Dunnuck 96+ Points: “Another brilliant wine from this family, the 2021 Chardonnay comes all from the estate Pisoni Vineyard in the southern part of the Santa Lucia Highlands. Unfortunately, it’s made in tiny quantities, but I consistently think it ranks with the finest Chardonnay in California. Honeyed lemon, pear, flowers, crushed stone, and a beautiful kiss of toasted walnuts define the aromatics, and it’s medium-bodied, vibrant, and elegant, with a liquid rock-like sense of minerality on the finish. It plays in the more elegant, focused, lengthy style of the vintage and is slightly closed and tight at present. Give bottles another 2-3 years in the cellar and enjoy through 2031. It’s a beautiful Chardonnay.”
California Myth³ (½ Case) 2023-2024
$1,800.00 $1,599.99
Pulido Walker 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Mount Veeder, Napa 99 Points
$259.99
Jeb Dunnuck 99 Points: “A bigger, richer, more structured wine, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Mt. Veeder Estate Vineyard has brilliant black fruits, tobacco, iron, and subtle smoke-like nuances in a full-bodied, concentrated, layered package. This is pure Mountain Cabernet genius, and while it’s far from unapproachable today, it will benefit from 3-5 years of bottle age. It’s up with the crème de la crème of the vintage and should be snatched up by readers.”
Covenant “Red-C” Proprietary 2018 Red, Sonoma County (Kosher Wine)

Paul Lato 2021 “Stand by Me” Pinot Noir, Drum Canyon Vineyard, Sta. Rita Hills 97 Points

Jeb Dunnuck 97 Points: “Darker cherries, black tea, leafy herbs, and sweet spice all emerge from the 2021 Pinot Noir Stand By Me Drum Canyon Vineyard, a layered, medium-bodied Pinot Noir revealing a terrific underlying sense of minerality, a focused, elegant mouthfeel, and a great finish. It has an age-worthy, nicely structured, balanced style that will benefit from a year or two of bottle age and evolve gracefully through 2031+.”

Owen Bargreen 94 Points: ” Nearly all Zinfandel (90%), this has 4% Alicante blended in. Very juicy and bright, this shows ripe strawberry and bing cherry with prosciutto and green olive notes on the palate. Complex and delicious, this has a long way to go in the cellar. Vibrant, with a terrific mineral backbone, this weighs in at only 13.8% alcohol. Drink 2022-2035-“
Hudson 2021 Chardonnay “Estate” Carneros Napa Valley 97+ Points
$79.99
FMW 97 Points: The 2021 Hudson Estate Chardonnay is a lush, deep, and concentrated youngster that wows you from the start. The wine’s bold aromas jump out of the glass. On the palate, you’ll encounter lush viscosity and tantalizing richness. The wine is loaded with bold flavors of lemon confit, marzipan, fresh-cut flowers, chamomile, and almonds. This Chardonnay is very statuesque and over-delivers from start to finish.
Limerick Lane 2021 Zinfandel 1910 Block, Russian River Valley 97 Points
$71.99 $67.99
Vinous 97 Points: “The 2021 Zinfandel 1910 Block emerges from the oldest vines on the property. Dense, dark, and beguiling, the 2021 packs a serious punch. Succulent black cherry, blackberry, spice, rose petal, pomegranate, and blood orange saturate the palate. The 2021 is distinguished by its density, power, and resonance. This is the essence of Limerick Lane. What a wine!”
