These all carry to a vibrant, medium-bodied Pinot Noir with a classic, focused spine of acidity, a more rounded mouthfeel, ripe tannins, and a great finish. It’s another gorgeous wine. Drink bottles any time over the coming 10-12 years or so.

Tyler 2019 Mae Estate Chardonnay Santa Rita Hills 97 Points
$74.99
Robert Parker 97 Points: “Mae Estate is brand new cuvée from Tyler. “This place came on the market in 2014,” explains winemaker Justin Tyler Willett. “We had contemplated buying a place, so we will break ground here in 2022 on a new winery.” Located in the Sta. Rita Hills appellation on marine sediment soils, the Mae Estate will become the new home for Tyler wines. The 2019 Chardonnay Mae Estate is a beautiful first iteration. The nose features creamy panna cotta, lemon peel and pastry aromas streaked with sweet spice, and the palate has a unique satiny texture that coats the mouth and draws out its plush, creamy citrus and apricot layers. Don’t hesitate to try this promising new cuvée from Tyler”

It offers a deep purple hue to go with a totally brilliant nose of ripe blackberries, blueberries, ground pepper, game, and violets. As usual, it’s a more approachable, polished Syrah compared to the Bien Nacido release. Drink bottles any time over the coming decade.”
Hendry 2018 Bordeaux Blend “Red” Estate Napa Valley 95 Points
$49.99
FMW 95 Points: “Dazzling black stone fruit and chocolate aromas jump out of the glass on impact. This Bordeaux blend offers deep dark color, with intense aromatics and concentration. The fruit is 100% sourced from the Hendry Estate in the Napa Valley. This Cabernet-based blend is concentrated, powerful, yet silky smooth, with a lush and creamy texture on the mid-palate offering up cacao, blueberries, and anise flavors, and its loaded flavors show intense depth, that leads to a long but silky finish with fine-grained tannins. This wine is drinking well now and should do so for a decade.
TOR 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Cimarossa Howell Mountain Napa Valley 97 Points
$164.99
Vinous 97 Points: “The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Cimarossa Vineyard is such a classic Howell Mountain wine. Scorched earth, leather, licorice, tobacco, licorice and gravel lend striking aromatic nuance to this virile, potent Cabernet Sauvignon. The 2018 is a real stunner. Its breadth, power and resonance are thrilling.”
Paul Lato 2021 “Atticus” Pinot Noir John Sebastiano Vineyard, Sta. Rita Hills 97 Points
$94.99
Jeb Dunnuck 97 Points: “Another Sta. Rita Hills release, the 2021 Pinot Noir Atticus John-Sebastiano Vineyard was destemmed and spent 16 months in 66% new French oak. It reveals a translucent ruby hue followed by an awesome bouquet of redcurrants, framboise, dried rose petals, and savory herbs. Medium-bodied, balanced, and elegant, it has incredible tannins, no hard edges, and a great finish. Give bottles a year or two and enjoy over the following decade.”
DuMOL 2021 Pinot Noir “Wester Reach” Russian River Valley 95 Points
$85.00
James Suckling 95 Points: “A wine with a lot of back end, with dark fruits of blackberry and cherry. Ripe strawberry. Hints of toasted oak and smoke. It’s full and layered with very firm and polished tannins. Very serious and real, and shows the structure of the vintage. Some chocolate. Strawberry pie, too. Drinkable but two to three years of age will help it”

Colgin 2018 Cariad Proprietary Red Blend Napa Valley 100 Points
$950.00 $799.99
Vinous 100 Points: : “The 2018 Cariad is breathtaking right out of the gate. What a wine! Bright acids and beams of underlying structure give the Cariad tons of energy that really drives its feel. Effusive and vibrant in the glass, with tons of pedigree, Cariad is drop-dead gorgeous in 2018. Winemaker Allison Tauziet opted not to use Petit Verdot in this vintage, choosing instead to use a bit more Franc. I can’t really say the wine is missing the Petit Verdot, while the Franc seems to give added aromatic explosiveness. Then again, all of this fruit is sourced from David Abreu’s Madrona Ranch, a stellar site with a stunning array of clones, including some pretty magical Franc.”
Keplinger 2019 El Diablo Grenache Russian River Valley – 97 Points
$79.99
Jeb Dunnuck 97 Points: “More subtle and elegant, with slightly less power but possibly more complexity, the 2019 Grenache El Diablo has a beautiful nose of ripe cherry and strawberry fruits as well as herbes de Provence, spring flowers, and baking spices. As seamless as they come on the palate, it’s medium to full-bodied, has a pure, elegant mouthfeel, ultra-fine tannins, and a great finish. It’s another heavenly Grenache from this talented winemaker that readers will love. It too should keep for a decade.”

$89.99
Cobb 2019 Pinot Noir Rice Spivak Sonoma Coast 97+ Points
$99.99
Robert Parker 97+ Points: “The 2019 Pinot Noir Rice Spivak Vineyard was made with about 40% whole clusters and matured for 22 months in 40% new French oak. It has a medium ruby color and pure aromas of cranberries, raspberries and rhubarb—those dark red fruit characteristics of Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir in the 2019 vintage—plus accents of orange peel, Angostura bitters, moss and forest floor. The medium-bodied palate manages a slender frame and very intense flavors, supported by an abundance of silty tannins and juicy acidity driving the very long, very layered finish.”

Robert Parker 100 Points: “From a parcel along Silverado Trail that Bevan describes as “super rocky,” the 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Tench Vineyard offers up a hugely complex, fruit-driven bouquet that blends purple raspberries, black cherries, red raspberries and cassis. It’s full-bodied and richly concentrated, with a long, velvety finish.”
Altamura 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley 96+ Points

Maybach 2019 Amoenus Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley 99 Points

Jeb Dunnuck 99 Points: “First made in 2009 (the first vintage of Maybach was in 2004), the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Amoenus offers an incredible, full-bodied, pure, seamless style, and I suspect this is the finest vintage of this cuvée ever made. Gorgeous red and black fruits, toasted spice, brioche, violets, and flowers are just some of the nuances here, and it’s one of those wines that brings massive richness and depth while staying pure, seamless, and as graceful as they come. Don’t miss it!”

$1,800.00 $1,599.99
Paul Lato 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon “Cavatina” Napa Valley 94 Points
$109.99
TWI 94 Points: “The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Cavatina comes from Oak Knoll and Howell Mountain and is aged in 40% new oak. Deep purple-black colored, it needs a little coaxing to bring out notes of fresh black currants, crushed blackberries, and wild blueberries, plus hints of pencil shavings, menthol, and cardamom. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is elegantly crafted, with lots of bright, crunchy black fruit layers and a lively backbone, framed by firm, grainy tannins, finishing long and lifted”
