What can one say about this wine that hasn’t already been said? The Palisades Vineyard is truly one of the finest sites in all of California for Petite and the resulting wine is truly exceptional. Like the previous iterations, the wine pours dark as night into the glass however this book is not to be judged by its cover. Aromatically it shows white flowers and blackberries, while the first taste will reveal a savory, well-balanced attack of red fruit, spice & hints of game. Drink now with food or age it out 20 years, it will be hard to miss the window on this one.
