Sanguis 2019 The Bossman Syrah based Red Blend 96 Points
$94.99
Jeb Dunnuck 95 Points: “The 2018 Bossman is also Syrah-dominated (70%) yet is a more eclectic blend that includes 10% each of Viognier, Grenache, and Cabernet Franc. It saw roughly 30% stems and the standard, longer élevage favored by Matthias, spending 25 months in 35% new barrels. I love the purity of fruit here, and it has a perfumed bouquet of blueberries, cherries, violets, and ground pepper as well as this Côte Rôtie-like sense of minerality. Medium to full-bodied, pure, and layered, it has the class to drink well today yet also evolve for 10-15 years. It’s a stunning Santa Ynez Syrah blend.”
Talley 2021 Chardonnay Rosemary Vineyard Arroyo Grande 95 Points
$69.99
Vinous 95 Points: “The 2021 Chardonnay Rosemary’s Vineyard is a classic Brian Talley wine. Rich and creamy, with notable texture, the Rosemary’s is superb in 2021. There’s a bit more oak here than in the other Chardonnays, but the wine has the depth to balance things out. Lemon confit, marzipan, white flowers, and a kiss of new French oak build as this resonant, expressive Chardonnay shows off its considerable charms.”
Realm 2021 The Bard Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley 98 Points
$179.90
Jeb Dunnuck 98 Points: “Lastly, the 2021 The Bard checks in as 83% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Merlot, 6% Cabernet Franc, and the rest Petit Verdot and Petite Sirah. This beauty has a killer bouquet of cassis, spring flowers, graphite, chalky minerality, and violets. This carries to a full-bodied, seamless, silky, flawlessly balanced effort revealing fine tannins, a good sense of freshness, and a thrilling finish.”
Patrimony 2019 Cabernet Franc Paso Robles 99 Points
$279.99
Robert Parker 99 Points: “The 2019 Cabernet Franc feels like a finished wine, although it is still maturing in barrel. The nose offers super pure violet, green pepper, exotic spices and blackberries, and the palate is fresh with youthfully gregarious fruits, finishing with great length. This was made entirely from free-run juice and will be aged for about 30 months in new French oak.”
Paul Lato 2021 “Stand by Me” Pinot Noir, Drum Canyon Vineyard, Sta. Rita Hills 97 Points
$99.99
Jeb Dunnuck 97 Points: “Darker cherries, black tea, leafy herbs, and sweet spice all emerge from the 2021 Pinot Noir Stand By Me Drum Canyon Vineyard, a layered, medium-bodied Pinot Noir revealing a terrific underlying sense of minerality, a focused, elegant mouthfeel, and a great finish. It has an age-worthy, nicely structured, balanced style that will benefit from a year or two of bottle age and evolve gracefully through 2031+.”
Favia 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Oakville Napa Valley 98 Points
$249.99 $224.99
Jeb Dunnuck 98 Points: “Next up, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Oakville is a slightly broader, more expansive wine with textbook notes of crème de cassis, tobacco leaf, Asian spices, loamy soil, camphor, and chocolate. Offering full-bodied richness, a beautiful weightlessness on the palate, and building tannins, this is another gorgeous, seamless, singular wine from this estate that will benefit from short-term cellaring and evolve for 20-25 years or more.”
Morgado 2019 “Sugarloaf” Bordeaux Blend, Napa Valley 97 Points
$105.00 $89.99
Jeb Dunnuck 97 Points: “The 2019 Red Wine Sugarloaf Mountain Vineyard is cut from the same cloth as the 2018 and has a rich, full-bodied, nicely layered style revealing big, chocolatey fruits as well as notes of scorched earth and graphite.”
Herman Story 2021 Casual Encounter GSM 97 Points
$69.99
Billecart Salmon 2009 Extra Brut Champagne 95 Points
$124.99 $109.99
Robert Parker 95 Points: “Disgorged with two grams per liter dosage, Billecart-Salmon’s 2009 Extra Brut Vintage is more giving and demonstrative than its 2008 counterpart, offering up inviting aromas of crisp stone fruit, yellow apple, brioche, honeycomb, and warm pastry. Medium to full-bodied, fleshy and enveloping, with a pillowy mousse and a generous core of fruit girdled by bright acids, it’s seamless and complete. Indeed, such is its charm and persistence that I tend to prefer it, at least for now, to the 2008.”
Colgin 2018 Cariad Proprietary Red Blend Napa Valley 100 Points
$950.00 $799.99
Vinous 100 Points: : “The 2018 Cariad is breathtaking right out of the gate. What a wine! Bright acids and beams of underlying structure give the Cariad tons of energy that really drives its feel. Effusive and vibrant in the glass, with tons of pedigree, Cariad is drop-dead gorgeous in 2018. Winemaker Allison Tauziet opted not to use Petit Verdot in this vintage, choosing instead to use a bit more Franc. I can’t really say the wine is missing the Petit Verdot, while the Franc seems to give added aromatic explosiveness. Then again, all of this fruit is sourced from David Abreu’s Madrona Ranch, a stellar site with a stunning array of clones, including some pretty magical Franc.”

Turley 2021 Zinfandel Juvenile California 92 Points
$33.00 $29.95
Wine Spectator 92 Points: ” Jammed with fresh, lively fruit, this Zinfandel abounds with black raspberry, spice, and orange zest accents that linger on the long, supple finish. Drink now through 2032.”
Vinous 90 Points: “The 2021 Zinfandel Juvenile, Turley’s young vines bottling, is terrific. Super-ripe dark cherry, plum, spice, mocha, chocolate, tobacco, and dried herbs give the Juvenile tons of flavor intensity to fill out its plush contours. This racy Zinfandel is sure to be a crowd-pleaser. Best of all, it will be easy on the budget, too. “

Cobb 2018 Pinot Noir Doc’s Ranch “Swan and Calera” Selection” 97 Points
$95.00
Robert Parker 97 Points: “The 2018 Pinot Noir Doc’s Ranch Swan & Calera Selection is scented of red cherries and cranberries with tones of bitter citrus, tobacco leaves, dried flowers and Angostura bitters. Light-bodied, silty and incredibly fresh, its slim frame holds a surprising amount of pure, crunchy fruits, and it finishes with tremendous length and spicy layers. The Swan clone fruit included in this cuvée comes from vines planted in 1995, and the Calera clones were planted in 2011. It’s another 2018 from the Cobb portfolio that offers both ageability and immediate appeal.”

Cobb 2019 Pinot Noir Rice Spivak Sonoma Coast 97+ Points
$99.99
Robert Parker 97+ Points: “The 2019 Pinot Noir Rice Spivak Vineyard was made with about 40% whole clusters and matured for 22 months in 40% new French oak. It has a medium ruby color and pure aromas of cranberries, raspberries and rhubarb—those dark red fruit characteristics of Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir in the 2019 vintage—plus accents of orange peel, Angostura bitters, moss and forest floor. The medium-bodied palate manages a slender frame and very intense flavors, supported by an abundance of silty tannins and juicy acidity driving the very long, very layered finish.”
Favia 2018 La Magdalena Proprietary Red Napa Valley 99 Points
$249.99 $224.99
Jeb Dunnuck 99 Points: “Next up, the 2018 La Magalena comes from the Oakville Ranch Vineyard and in 2018 is a blend of equal parts Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Incredible notes of crème de cassis, blueberries, tobacco leaf, violets, and spring flowers all emerge from this beauty, and it hits the palate with flawless balance, full-bodied richness, a great, great mid-palate, and a finish that keeps you coming back to the glass. Probably a candidate for perfection in 5-7 years, this is a magical Bordeaux blend from an incredible terroir as well as a great winemaker. Hide bottles in the cellar for 5-7 years, count yourself lucky, and enjoy over the following 30 years or more.”
Chev by Cirq 2019 Pinot Noir Russian River Valley 94 Points
$104.99 $98.94
Jacquesson Champagne Cuvee 746 Extra Brut
$85.00 $79.95
Ridge 2020 Pagani Ranch Zinfandel Sonoma 94 Points
$44.99
Owen Bargreen 94 Points: ” Nearly all Zinfandel (90%), this has 4% Alicante blended in. Very juicy and bright, this shows ripe strawberry and bing cherry with prosciutto and green olive notes on the palate. Complex and delicious, this has a long way to go in the cellar. Vibrant, with a terrific mineral backbone, this weighs in at only 13.8% alcohol. Drink 2022-2035-“
