Billecart Salmon 2009 Extra Brut Champagne 95 Points
$124.99 $109.99
Robert Parker 95 Points: “Disgorged with two grams per liter dosage, Billecart-Salmon’s 2009 Extra Brut Vintage is more giving and demonstrative than its 2008 counterpart, offering up inviting aromas of crisp stone fruit, yellow apple, brioche, honeycomb, and warm pastry. Medium to full-bodied, fleshy and enveloping, with a pillowy mousse and a generous core of fruit girdled by bright acids, it’s seamless and complete. Indeed, such is its charm and persistence that I tend to prefer it, at least for now, to the 2008.”

Spottswoode 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon “Estate” Napa ~ 100 Points — MAGNUM
$550.00
Robert Parker 100 Points: “Tasted blind, in a lineup that included vintages back to 2010, a barrel sample of Spottswoode’s 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon stood out as being one of the most exciting efforts. Full-bodied, ripe, and rich without being overbearing, it delivers concentrated black cherry and cassis fruit framed by supple, velvety-textured tannins. It’s long on the finish, with an attractively soft, dusty-loamy texture and no overt signs of a fire-troubled Napa vintage.”

Argot 2019 Syrah “Indigo” Sonoma Mountain, Sonoma – 97 Points
$89.99
Jeb Dunnuck 97 Points: “Brought up in more new French oak (90%), the 2019 Syrah Indigo is inky purple-hued and gives up a killer bouquet of blackberries, beef blood, bay leaf, iron, peppery herbs, and bacon fat. It’s rich, full-bodied, and concentrated on the palate, with a dense, rich, powerful, yet also focused style that stays graceful and elegant. This is a gorgeous Syrah in every way that should have 10-15 years of prime drinking.”
La Sirena 2021 Chardonnay, Russian River Valley 96 Points
$79.99
FMW 96 Points: “The 2021 La Sirena Chardonnay, Russian River offers up flinty and bright fruit aromatics. This lush, full-bodied wine showcases an elegant body loaded withs pure fruit, lime zest, green apple, umami richness, and a whiff of minearlity. The wine offers both power and elegance. Bright, freshly styled crushed white flowers, more apple fruit and a touch of toasty vanilla are a nice crescendo for this great youngster’s long finish.
Aperture 2021 “Soil Specific” Bordeaux Blend Alexander Valley 95+ Points
$69.99 $64.99
Pisoni 2021 “Estate” Pinot Noir, Santa Lucia Highlands – 96+ Points IN MAGNUM
$259.99
Jeb Dunnuck 96+ Points: “The 2021 Pinot Noir comes entirely from the Pisoni Vineyard in the southern portion of the Santa Lucia Highlands. It was only partially destemmed and was raised in 68% new French oak. It’s a truly gorgeous effort offering serious aromatics of cassis, darker raspberries, spicy oak, graphite, and crushed stone. Incredibly pure, vibrant, and precise aromatically, it hits the palate with full-bodied richness, a stacked mid-palate, lots of building tannins, and a great finish. This concentrated, focused, age-worthy beauty needs at least 2-3 years to integrate its structure and tannins and will evolve brilliantly over the following decade. Bravo!

Jeb Dunnuck 99 Points: “ The 2021 Pinot Noir Pomarium. is packed with notes of black cherry liqueur and kirsch, pure ripe fruit, a touch of sage, and sweet earth. It’s more grounded and muscular, with ripe, broad tannins, and has great depth as well as a grounded nature, with good fruit throughout.”

Aston 2019 Pinot Noir X Estate, Sonoma Coast 95 Points
$84.99 $79.99
Wine Spectator 95 Points: “Boasts abundant zesty, energetic, and bramble-laced mulberry, plum, and açaí berry flavors, while hints of melted licorice, chaparral, and apple wood fill in through the finish. Broad, rich, and defined, with a flurry of fruit and licorice snap echoing at the very end. Distinctive. Drink now through 2034. 900 cases made.”
Jeb Dunnuck 94 Points: “My favorite of the trio, the 2019 Pinot Noir X Label has slightly more purity and finesse in its aromas and flavors as well as a medium-bodied, silky style on the palate. Lots of mulled red and blue fruits, peppery herbs, forest floor, and spicy nuances make up the bouquet, and it’s beautifully pure, layered, and seamless on the palate. This is another complex, singular wine from this estate that can be enjoyed any time over the coming decade.”
Paul Lato 2021 “Atticus” Pinot Noir John Sebastiano Vineyard, Sta. Rita Hills 97 Points
$94.99
Jeb Dunnuck 97 Points: “Another Sta. Rita Hills release, the 2021 Pinot Noir Atticus John-Sebastiano Vineyard was destemmed and spent 16 months in 66% new French oak. It reveals a translucent ruby hue followed by an awesome bouquet of redcurrants, framboise, dried rose petals, and savory herbs. Medium-bodied, balanced, and elegant, it has incredible tannins, no hard edges, and a great finish. Give bottles a year or two and enjoy over the following decade.”
