Wine & Spirit 93 Points: “The base for this rosé is Pinot Noir with Meunier added as red wine. Perhaps the Meunier gives this a delicate fragrance, making the wine seem prettier and more aerial than Dosnon’s other cuvées. The flavors are so pure and lively it feels like eating fresh fruit, the mousse fine enough that it would easily meld with sushi—Mariko Kobayashi of Vintry Fine Wines in NYC suggested the acidity in the rice would play well with the wine.”
Wine Spectator 93 Points: “Delicate spice, floral and graphite aromas lead to flavors of white peach, fresh ginger, biscuit and lemon peel in this harmonious rosé, with a firm and chalky frame. Offers a lasting, mouthwatering finish.”
Tasting Notes: This expressive version offers a pure beam of kirsch and blood orange fruit flavors set on a finely detailed mousse. Bright and mouthwatering, layering smoke, star anise, and almond skin notes with the fruit profile
