Winemaker notes: high tide aims to take the best qualities of all of our growing partners in varying growing conditions to create a singular napa valley expression. The opulent fruit from our valley floor partners is framed by the tannin and natural acidity of our atlas peak cabernet while our benchland sites fill the mouth with complex dark berry fruits. With a significant portion coming from well-drained soils at elevation high tide has the tools to lay down and age for several years.
James Suckling 93 Points: “ Deep and succulent dark berry character with notes of baking spices, dried blue flowers, and crushed stones, follow through to a full body with plush, fine-grained tannins, that are firm and slightly chewy. Chalky and crunchy finish. Try from 2025.”
Wine Enthusiast 92 Points: “This is a 100% varietal wine made from sites across the wider Napa Valley, perfumed in oak and wild game, with a hint of meaty char. Toasted oak notes continue throughout a core of concentrated dark-berry fruit, cedar, and crushed rock, finding an approachable, full-bodied richness that lasts through the finish.
