Paul Lato 2021 “Le Souvenir” Chardonnay, Sierra Madre Vineyard, Santa Maria Valley- 96 Points
$89.99
Jeb Dunnuck 96 Points: “Coming from a site in the Santa Maria Valley, the 2021 Chardonnay Le Souvenir Sierra Madre Vineyard offers more minerality and salinity, with crisp citrus and orchard fruits, medium to full body, bright, juicy acidity, terrific mid-palate depth, and complex notes of minty herbs and green almonds. It will benefit from a year of bottle age (you’ll be forgiven for opening bottles today) and will keep through 2031.”

Cresta Velia 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon “Mount Veeder” Napa Valley 96+ Points
$130.00 $124.99
Jeb Dunnuck 96+Points: ‘From younger plantings in the southwest portion of Mt. Veeder, the 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Mount Veeder is all Cabernet Sauvignon brought up in 82% new French oak. Offering notes of cassis, red plums, wild scrub brush, and scorched earth, it’s beautiful on the palate, with surprisingly supple tannins, medium to full body, wonderful balance, and a great finish.”
Aftermath 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate Napa Valley 97 Points
$89.99
FMW 97 Points: This 100% Estate-grown Cabernet (96.3% CS and 3.7% PV), offers up an amazing bouquet of classic dark Cabernet fruit that jumps out of the glass upon impact. This 2019 youngster is lush, full in bodied and surprisingly well-balanced. The wine is multi-layered loaded with gorgeous black currant, dark chocolate, a whiff of anise, cassis and a touch of spice on the opulent palate. Extremely well-balanced and in-sync wine that will please the big Cab lover. This is a killer wine, but unfortunately a very limited production.

Talley 2021 Chardonnay Rosemary Vineyard Arroyo Grande 95 Points
$69.99
Vinous 95 Points: “The 2021 Chardonnay Rosemary’s Vineyard is a classic Brian Talley wine. Rich and creamy, with notable texture, the Rosemary’s is superb in 2021. There’s a bit more oak here than in the other Chardonnays, but the wine has the depth to balance things out. Lemon confit, marzipan, white flowers, and a kiss of new French oak build as this resonant, expressive Chardonnay shows off its considerable charms.”

It’s ready to go yet should continue delivering the goods over the coming decade.”

Adrien Renoir “Grand Cru Le Terroir” Champagne – Verzy, France 95 Points
$94.99
Robert Parker 95 Points: “Disgorged in May 2019 with 2.5 grams per liter dosage, Renoir’s NV Extra-Brut Grand Cru Le Terroir is a 50-50 blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from the slopes of Verzy, some 20% of which was vinified and matured in barrel. Unwinding in the glass with a lovely bouquet of Meyer lemon, pastry cream, yellow pear, dried white flowers, and shortbread, it’s full-bodied, powerful, and vinous, with a textural attack that segues into a deep and incisive mid-palate, complemented by an elegant pinpoint mousse. Long and penetrating, this is a beautifully balanced Champagne from this promising emerging talent”
Kamen 2021 “Lava Block” Cabernet Sauvignon, Estate Sonoma 97 Points
$209.99
Vinous 97 Points: “The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Lava Block is a potent, explosive wine. Rocky soils yield a potent, intensely mineral-drenched Cabernet Sauvignon. Crushed rocks, graphite, chocolate, lavender, incense, and crème de cassis all race across the palate, supported by salivating acids and big yet well-balanced tannins.” ”

Billecart Salmon Brut Sous Bois Champagne 94 Points IN MAGNUM
$214.99
Robert Parker 92+ Points: “The latest release of Billecart’s NV Brut Sous Bois is excellent, unwinding in the glass with notes of lemon oil, crisp stone fruit, buttery pastry and freshly baked bread. Medium to full-bodied, fleshy and elegantly vinous, with chalky phenolic structure and an enlivening pillowy mousse, it’s impressively deep and concentrated, with fine tension and grip. Early renditions of this cuvée tended to be at their best on release, but this impressive effort appears to be built to age.”
Coho 2018 Pinot Noir “Stanly Ranch” Carneros Napa Valley 93+ Points
$49.99
James Suckling 92 Points: “Notes of raspberries, strawberries, baking spices and dried flowers. Medium-bodied with plush tannins. Juicy and fruity with floral and spicy character on the finish. Rich and layered.”

Peay 2021 “Scallop Shelf” Estate Pinot Noir, West Sonoma Coast 99 Points
$89.99
Jeb Dunnuck 99 Points: “More mineral aromas emerge in the 2021 Pinot Noir Scallop Shelf, with notes of wet stone, black raspberry, and fresh herbs. Medium-bodied and more tension-driven, it’s taut with orange zest, clove, and gravelly, saline earth. It’s going to need time to unpack. Drink 2026-2046.”
