Kamen 2021 “Lava Block” Cabernet Sauvignon, Estate Sonoma 97 Points
$209.99
Vinous 97 Points: “The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Lava Block is a potent, explosive wine. Rocky soils yield a potent, intensely mineral-drenched Cabernet Sauvignon. Crushed rocks, graphite, chocolate, lavender, incense, and crème de cassis all race across the palate, supported by salivating acids and big yet well-balanced tannins.” ”
Mending Wall 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Tournahu 97 Points
$129.99 $124.95
Jeb Dunnuck 97 Points: “From a site in St. Helena, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Tournahu Vineyard has a darker, herbal, pure, old school Cabernet character in its ripe black fruits, tobacco, gravelly earth, chocolate, and lead pencil-like aromas and flavors. Rich, full-bodied, and concentrated, it has a great texture, polished tannins, and a great finish. This is another wine from this estate that readers should snatch up.”
Dragonette 2021 Pinot Noir “Sanford and Benedict” Santa Barbara 96 Points
$79.99
James Suckling 96 Points: “Aromas of hibiscus, lemon, iron and strawberry follow through to a medium to full body with very fine tannins that melt into the wine. Lovely freshness. Succulent and juicy. Drink now or hold.
Jeb Dunnuck 96 Points: “The Pinot Noir Sanford & Benedict Vineyard was 80% destemmed, which is a lot of stems by this estate’s standards, and spent 16 months in 40% new barrels. It’s another exotic, complex, incredibly satisfying Pinot Noir in the lineup that offers ripe red and black fruits, black tea, orange blossom, and spice-laced aromas and flavors. I love its texture, and it has terrific mid-palate depth, ripe tannins, and a great, great finish.

Paul Lato 2021 “Stand by Me” Pinot Noir, Drum Canyon Vineyard, Sta. Rita Hills 97 Points
$99.99
Jeb Dunnuck 97 Points: “Darker cherries, black tea, leafy herbs, and sweet spice all emerge from the 2021 Pinot Noir Stand By Me Drum Canyon Vineyard, a layered, medium-bodied Pinot Noir revealing a terrific underlying sense of minerality, a focused, elegant mouthfeel, and a great finish. It has an age-worthy, nicely structured, balanced style that will benefit from a year or two of bottle age and evolve gracefully through 2031+.”
Walter Hansel 2021 Pinot Noir “Cuvée Alyce” Russian River Valley – 95 Points
$49.95
Jeb Dunnuck 95 Points: “Dark and enveloping, the 2021 Pinot Noir Cuvée Alyce is the richest offering in this lineup. Pouring a deep red/purple, it’s saturated with aromas of boysenberry liqueur, lavender, cedar, and licorice. Ample and full-bodied, it remains light on its feet, with mouthwatering lift, well-integrated, ripe tannins, and smoky incense on the back palate. Give it another year or two to shed its considerable baby fat and drink 2025-2035.”

Cobb 2021 Chardonnay “H. Klopp Vineyard” Sonoma Coast 97 Points
$69.99
Robert Parker 97 Points: “The 2021 Chardonnay H. Klopp Vineyard, from vines planted in classic Goldridge soils, is bursting with alluring, layered aromas: quince paste, honey, and white peach are complemented by accents of roasted almonds and graham cracker, and the palate matches that intensity with its highly concentrated, honeyed flavors. All that flavor is supported by a spine of vibrant acidity, and a touch of textural grip drives a very long finish. This is so delicious! 300 cases were made. “
Site 2019 Syrah “Bien Nacido Vineyard” Santa Barbara 96 Points
$69.99
Jeb Dunnuck 96 Points: “The 2019 Syrah Bien Nacido Vineyard comes from a great vineyard outside Santa Maria and is all Syrah that’s still sitting in 50% new barrels. Its dense purple color is followed by a classic Bien Nacido nose of red and blue fruits, cracked pepper, smoke game, and liquid violets. Rich and medium to full-bodied, it has both integrated acidity and gorgeous tannins as well as notable balance and a great finish. Yes, please.”

Presqu’ile 2020 Pinot Noir Sanford and Benedict Vineyard Santa Barbara 96 Points
$79.90
Vinous 96 Points: “The 2020 Presqu’ile Pinot Noir Sanford and Benedict is outrageously beautiful. Rich, creamy, and textured, the S&B captures all of the pedigree of this site. Blue/purplish fruit, lavender, spice, menthol, licorice and pine build in a sumptuous Pinot that hits all the right notes. “
Billecart Salmon Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Champagne
$104.99
Cornell 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate Sonoma 97+ Points
$189.99
Vinous 97+ Points: The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon is super-elegant and refined, but also somewhat closed following its bottling, which is not uncommon for mountain wines. That period of stubbornness seems to be part of the evolution here, as the wine tends to only blossom after a few years. Today, the 2019 is marked by its brilliant upper register, striking balance and vibrancy. It is another compelling wine from Cornell.”
Shared Notes 2022 Sauvignon Blanc Les Pierres qui Décident, Russian River Valley — VERY LIMITED
$89.99 $84.99
Paul Lato 2021 “East of Eden” Chardonnay, Pisoni Vineyard, Santa Lucia Highlands-96+ Points
$99.00
Jeb Dunnuck 96+ Points: “From a site in the southern, slightly warmer portion of the Santa Lucia Highlands, the 2021 Chardonnay East of Eden Pisoni Vineyard is one of the tighter, more mineral-drench, backward Chardonnays in the lineup. Crushed citrus, flinty minerality, orange blossom, and spicy wood notes all define the aromatics, and it’s pure and medium to full-bodied, with integrated acidity and a focused, layered style that will benefit from a year or two of bottle age. It will drink beautifully through 2031.”
Peay 2021 Pinot Noir Pomarium West Sonoma Coast 99 Points

Jeb Dunnuck 99 Points: “ The 2021 Pinot Noir Pomarium. is packed with notes of black cherry liqueur and kirsch, pure ripe fruit, a touch of sage, and sweet earth. Jeb Dunnuck 95 Points: “I always love Lato’s Pinot Noir from this site, and his 2021 Pinot Noir Suerte Solomon Hills Vineyard is no exception. Revealing a ruby hue as well as gorgeous notes of wild strawberries, black tea, toasted spice, and exotic flowers, it hits the palate with medium to full-bodied richness, a round, layered, supple texture, integrated tannins, and outstanding length. Drink this more up-front, fruit-loaded, gorgeous Pinot Noir over the coming 5-7 years.”

Aftermath 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate Napa Valley 97 Points
$89.99
FMW 97 Points: This 100% Estate-grown Cabernet (96.3% CS and 3.7% PV), offers up an amazing bouquet of classic dark Cabernet fruit that jumps out of the glass upon impact. This 2019 youngster is lush, full in bodied and surprisingly well-balanced. The wine is multi-layered loaded with gorgeous black currant, dark chocolate, a whiff of anise, cassis and a touch of spice on the opulent palate. Extremely well-balanced and in-sync wine that will please the big Cab lover. This is a killer wine, but unfortunately a very limited production.
