Schrader Cellars 2019 Wappo Hill, Stag’s Leap Napa Valley 98 Points

$389.99

Jeb Dunnuck 98 Points: “A new cuvée in the lineup, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Wappo Hill comes from vines in the Stags Leap District (not far from Realm) and it’s another pure, elegant, yet textured wine in the lineup. Pretty cassis, violets, white flowers, and a touch of minerality define this youthful, already complex, elegant 2019. It shows the cooler style of Stags Leap with its perfumed, elegant style but still brings plenty of fruit.”

Billecart Salmon Brut Sous Bois Champagne 94 Points IN MAGNUM

$214.99

Robert Parker 92+ Points: “The latest release of Billecart’s NV Brut Sous Bois is excellent, unwinding in the glass with notes of lemon oil, crisp stone fruit, buttery pastry and freshly baked bread. Medium to full-bodied, fleshy and elegantly vinous, with chalky phenolic structure and an enlivening pillowy mousse, it’s impressively deep and concentrated, with fine tension and grip. Early renditions of this cuvée tended to be at their best on release, but this impressive effort appears to be built to age.”

Paul Lato 2021 “Stand by Me” Pinot Noir, Drum Canyon Vineyard, Sta. Rita Hills 97 Points

$99.99

Jeb Dunnuck 97 Points: “Darker cherries, black tea, leafy herbs, and sweet spice all emerge from the 2021 Pinot Noir Stand By Me Drum Canyon Vineyard, a layered, medium-bodied Pinot Noir revealing a terrific underlying sense of minerality, a focused, elegant mouthfeel, and a great finish. It has an age-worthy, nicely structured, balanced style that will benefit from a year or two of bottle age and evolve gracefully through 2031+.”

Senses 2022 Chardonnay Charles Heintz Vineyard Sonoma Coast 97+ Points

$89.99

sFMW 97+ Points: “Sourced from 40-year-old vines from Charley Heintz’s site just east of Occidental.  This 2022 radiant Chardonnay offers up a deep, rich, lush style body with electrifying notes of bright orchard fruits, brioche, and a whiff of minerality.  Incredibly well-balanced, with a touch of amalgamated acidity, it showcases a lush and rich mid-palate and a long, sophisticated finish. This is a classic Sonoma Coast Chardonnay that can be enjoyed now, and should drink and cellar well for a good decade!”

Radio Coteau 2019 Chardonnay Wingtine Sonoma Coast 95 Points

$69.99

Vinous 95 Points: “The 2019 Chardonnay Wingtine is impressive. Large-scaled and ample, the Wingtine is also wonderfully nuanced. There is a sense of transparency to the 2019 that is utterly beguiling. Lemon oil, mint, white pepper, sage and chamomile are some of the many aromas and flavors that develop in the glass. Strong savory and mineral accents add notable complexity.”

Gemstone 2018 “Heritage Selection” Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley 95 Points

$144.99

Vinous 95 Points: “The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Heritage Selection, from the back part of the property, is plump, juicy, and full of character. Inky dark fruit, mocha, floral notes and spice. All the elements come together so nicely. Picking a bit earlier than in the past helps preserve freshness as well as energy. Time in the glass brings out the wine’s volume and resonance. The juicy, creamy style works well here. Inky dark red/purplish fruit, spice, rose petal, and new leather builds into the resonant finish. I find a bit better balance here than in the Alluvial Selection.

Cornell 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate Sonoma 97+ Points

$189.99

Vinous 97+ Points: The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon is super-elegant and refined, but also somewhat closed following its bottling, which is not uncommon for mountain wines. That period of stubbornness seems to be part of the evolution here, as the wine tends to only blossom after a few years. Today, the 2019 is marked by its brilliant upper register, striking balance and vibrancy. It is another compelling wine from Cornell.”

Raen 2021 Pinot Noir Fort Ross Seaview Seafield Sonoma Coast 98 Points

$114.99

James Suckling 98 Points: Extremely aromatic with plums, crushed strawberries, rose flowers, and powdery dirt, before turning to cherries. Hints of flower stems. Perfumed. Full-bodied and very, very firm. Rather steely. Tight at the end. It opens beautifully in an hour or so. Drink after 2025.”

Medium-bodied, the palate is silky, soft, super fresh, and approachable with an understated but pure fruit character. Lovely!”
